ECVC Wins Best Overall Resort and Best Latin American Resort at 2018 Perspective Awards

El Cid Vacations Club has added to its long list of awards by capturing two honors at the 2018 Perspective Magazine Awards held in Miami, Florida onboard the SeaFair Grand Luxe mega yacht on February 28th.

El Cid Resort’s newest property, Ventus at Marina El Cid Spa & Beach Resort took home the honor of being The Best Overall Resort and the Best Resort in Latin America. Opened in November of 2017, Ventus at Marina El Cid Spa & Beach Resort has marked a new era in luxury properties. Located on the Riviera Maya directly on the beach, Ventus boasts an impressive 290 luxury suites with private balconies and swim up suite access, a 2,088 sq. ft. fitness center, two infinity pools, a 3,675 sq. ft. main pool with a dedicated area for children, and two adults-only Jacuzzis. Fernando Berdegué Sacristán, VP of Construction and New Product Development led a team of designers who partnered with award-winning architects, Ezequiel Farca and Cristina Grappin to bring this sleek, modern, and epic property to life.

Held on the last night of the Global Networking Experience (GNEX), the Perspective Magazine Awards has been recognizing leaders in the vacation ownership and hospitality industries for the past eight years. Winners were determined by four independent industry experts as well as an online voting where industry executives from around the world could cast their vote. El Cid Resorts received two luxurious crystal trophies and specialty graphics that the resort may use on print and online marketing material to designate its status as having the Best Overall Resort and the Best Latin American Resort of 2018.  In addition to El Cid’s Perspective Awards wins, INTUITION, the innovative Customer Engagement and Reputation Management company presented El Cid Resorts with a Best Customer Satisfaction Award. This new distinction was awarded to its top performing clients based on TripAdvisor scores. El Cid Resorts was one of three companies who received this new distinction.

These latest accolades have added to the long list of awards that El Cid Resorts has won recently. Last year, El Cid received RCI’s Gold Crown and Excellence in Service awards for all of its Vacation Club properties. RCI, which is the largest timeshare company in the world, only gives these honors to properties with superior customer satisfaction.

Congratulations on many exciting, memorable and enjoyable vacations in the years to come.  It is very important to become familiar with the rules of the program which you will find in your Updated ECVC Membership Guide/Directory (available for downloaded here).  From time to time ECVC may make modifications to the content of this guide.  Notice will be given via this landing page or other means such as email notifications or posts on other media channels.  When modifications are made to the guide, the entire member base is considered and the changes are made in order to benefit the member base as a whole.  Changes to this content include but may not be limited to rules, regulations, guidelines, design, photographs, maps, charts, schedules and wording of its text.  Future updated versions of this guide will be made available for download in a similar manner.
