In Mazatlán, at El Cid Marina Beach Resort & Yacht Club and at El Cid El Moro Beach, as occupancy allows placement of new queen size wall bed mechanisms and frames in the One Bedroom Suites units, with this, the goal is to have it done by December 2023. Deep maintenance in the rooms, lighting, plumbing, air conditioning, stained mirrors, replacement of damaged or chipped floors. In both Mazatlán and Riviera Maya smart TVs were acquired to replace 32-inch TVs for 55-inch.
El Moro opened its doors to Ban Thai a brand-new restaurant of Thai and Asian fusion cuisine adding yet another dinner option for all of our guests. Along with the grand opening of this restaurant, El Alcazar, the Italian specialty restaurant was refurbished and remodeled changing, lighting fixtures, floors, and décor. At El Cid Marina Beach Hotel & Yacht Club you can expect the expansion of the calypso pool kitchen and The Terraza Restaurant has been expanded increasing capacity to serve a total of 88 diners seated in a very comfortable way. For added comfort a shade sail was placed on the terrace for our diners providing them with shade in an open and well-ventilated space. At the Marina El Cid Beach Resort & Yacht Club over on the private and exclusive beach area beach palapas were renovated along with new ones acquired and service tables were placed in each of them to improve the comfort of guests when consuming food and beverages in their lounge chairs.
Brand new golf carts that are used to shuttle guests within the resorts are now circulating and the good news continue to pile on with the future expansion of the Platinum Club at Marina El Cid Spa and Beach Resort.
