The World Travel & Tourism Council embarked on a project working closely and alongside governments, health experts and other industry associations to propose and achieve effective recovery protocols and meaningful action plans that optimise sector-wide recovery efforts across the globe. The Safe Travels stamp is the world’s first ever global safety and hygiene stamp for Travel & Tourism, designed to address COVID-19. The stamp will allow travelers and other travel and tourism stakeholders to recognize destination authorities and companies around the world that have implemented health and hygiene protocols that are aligned with WTTC’s Safe Travels Protocols, which also consider and take into account current guidelines implemented by the World Health Organization and also the US Centers of Disease Control and Prevention.

Ventus at Marina El Cid Spa and Beach Resort in Cancun- Riviera Maya opens its doors July 1st, 2020 and has already earned the Safe Travels stamp. Congratulations on many exciting, memorable and enjoyable vacations in the years to come.  It is very important to become familiar with the rules of the program which you will find in your Updated ECVC Membership Guide/Directory (available for downloaded here).  From time to time ECVC may make modifications to the content of this guide.  Notice will be given via this landing page or other means such as email notifications or posts on other media channels.  When modifications are made to the guide, the entire member base is considered and the changes are made in order to benefit the member base as a whole.  Changes to this content include but may not be limited to rules, regulations, guidelines, design, photographs, maps, charts, schedules and wording of its text.  Future updated versions of this guide will be made available for download in a similar manner.
